Project partners at University of Limerick are organising a farm walk on Tuesday July 1st at 11am in Louis McAuley’s field near their site in Kentstown Co. Meath. They have teamed up with Harp Renewables and McAuley Feeds to demonstrate the use of fertilisers generated from former waste streams.
We are almost halfway into the ReNu2Cycle project now and as part of this collaborative project Louis McAuley has given access to an 8-acre winter barley field on which we are demonstrating our products along with others to see how feasible it is to grow crops using only recycling derived fertiliser products.
We invite stakeholders (farmers, farming advisors, policy makers, fertiliser producers, academics and interested citizens) to attend our farm walk to demonstrate our project.
